At Närhälsan Bengtsfors health center, we are a dedicated and welcoming team that cares for each other and works together for a sustainable and pleasant work environment.

The health center is located in the heart of the picturesque Dalsland, a region known for its tranquility, unspoiled nature, and Sweden's highest lake share. Here, there are fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities, recreation, and a life without congestion. We are responsible for approximately 7,500 registered patients, and we have general practitioners, specialist doctors, district nurses, and specialized nurses in diabetes, asthma/COPD, cardiovascular, and child healthcare. We also have CBT therapists, psychotherapists, psychologists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

Adjacent to the health center, there are maternal health care, youth clinics, and rehabilitation clinics. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a broad field of work and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care. If you are also passionate about making a difference for our oldest and most vulnerable patients, we can offer a position where you will work closely with our elderly. This role involves close collaboration with nurses in municipal primary care, together you create safe and person-centered care.

This is an opportunity for you who want to work long-term, close to patients, and in a team where your competence is truly valued. The role also includes mentoring ST and AT doctors as well as medical students, which is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. About you

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good demeanor. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
